Drillfeeder application
An AMV drillfeeder application is an excavator based top hammer application. It is designed and developed to perform advanced surface drilling where flexibility and efficiency is required. By combining the drillfeeder application with a commercial tiltrotator, the equipment can be used for all kinds of drilling operations, such as road constructions, rock bolting and quarries.
The application body is constructed to withstand the enormous forces exerted by an excavator. An universal quick coupling system makes it possible to attach and detach the application within minutes, either to perform vertical or horizontal drilling. The application is supplied by power from the original hydraulic system of the excavator, which is regulated by a pump regulation system developed by AMV. This system also allows the complete drillfeeder (included the excavator) to be controlled via an external radio controller, or the original excavator joysticks. To optimize the fuel consumption and improve machinery health, the same pump regulation system constantly regulates the power supply depending on the actual need.
